In 2005, former L’oreal VP of Marketing Stuart Sklar opened the world’s very first blow dry bar, “Blow” in Manhattan’s meatpacking district offering signature blowout services. Recognized as the blowout experts, the company soon created and launched Blowpro in 2008, a line of hair care products designed with unique formulas to give better blow dry results that were easier, faster, and longer-lasting than any other product in the market.

As the award-winning line grew it attracted the attention of Basim Shami, owner of Beauty Elite Group Inc & former CEO of Farouk Systems. In 2014, he acquired both “Blow” & Blowpro and further developed the brand adding the best styling tools for a complete blowout experience.
